Lucy Kate loves to draw....the other day she began this drawing and I asked her "Who are you drawing?" She said "I draw Lucy Kate!" I asked what Lucy Kate is doing in the picture. Her answer? Lucy Kate is Happy!! "Why is Lucy Kate so happy?" I ask? "Lucy Kate says "Mama, I love you, and Mama says I love you too Lucy Kate, so Lucy Kate is so happy, happy".
Lucy Kate, you have no idea the JOY you bring to us!! I am thankful and humbled each day that God chose ME as that Mama whose love can make a precious child so HAPPY! Please pray for Lucy Kate (and for nervous Mama) as we have our first appointment at Children's Mercy this morning. With a trusting heart, she tells me she is not afraid, as "Mama go with me". Always, precious girl, always.
