As I write this, there is a beautiful little girl sleeping soundly in the crib next to my bed, (she's a thumb sucker!) with her bunny we sent her months ago tucked in beside her. All I can say is that Lucy Kate is the bravest little girl I have ever known. As we walked into the consulate building this morning, she immediately saw us and came running for "mama!!" Our day together was amazing, and the kids are all crazy for her. Matt and I both marveled throughout the day at God's goodness..how blessed we are to be this joyful child's parents
