Another day in Zhengzhou

Today we were able to pick up our official adoption certificate from the Registar office, then to the Notary.  A Family of 7.....oh my!!!  We then took a walk through an interesting park near our hotel, and took in some of the sights of Zhengzhou.  Lucy Kate had her first expression of sadness....there was some grieving  and only Mama holding her tight would suffice. Some of the pictures will reflect that, but for the most part, she was pure sunshine.  Mama and Baba have a lot to learn about Lucy Kate's brace for her foot...we had it on not quite correctly, and her mobility was affected.  (Not to mention a blister formed)More cause for prayer! The thing is about Lucy kate is, she rarely stops smiling, so it isn't evident when there is an issue.  All in all, the kids had a wonderful day!

Lucy Kate..only happy if Mama is holding me!  She worked through it quickly though, and we know it is to be expected.  Such a brave, brave girl!!!

    Good Morning from The Perry's...It took me a few minutes to get things going on this computer...Its time to upgrade...Its so wonderful to see all of your pictures. All of you look so excited and happy...We all miss you , but we are so happy that you are fulfilling the plan and purpose that God has given you.     Oh that grieving. So, so difficult in the midst of it. And yet we know it is a healthy expression that proves she knows what it means to love...
    Thankful for you that she let you comfort her!
    Those are all wonderful pictures, but the one of her in the crib and the glimpse of a sibling beside her made my heart smile!

    Hi! Me (jacqueline) and Deven miss you guys alot! Of course me and Deven made southern elite. Also Kayle made BVAC attack B team. Oh yeah and Maddie made southern elite too! Deven and I really can't wait til you come back. We have heard everybody talking about you guys at school, especially Jacob. Kayle made a journal ( of a couple pages) for Maddie. All the girls at school miss Jacob like A LOT!!!!!!! Me, Deven, and Kayle miss Maddie a lot though! Oh and Eli! I hope the rest of the week goes by fast because we need our little Madseez! Have a good rest of the trip!

    Hey Lisa, Wanted to share a sidenote with you...While I was showing Thomas the pictures you have posted he made the comment "Is that what Lisa looks like all FANCIED up". I laughed so hard..I said what do you mean? his reply was "her hair was curly and she looks very pretty"...LOL You just gotta love him..Miss ya and see ya soon
